Our Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing at D’Youville College. She continued her education and completed the Masters in Nursing program at The University at Buffalo, NY.
She is passionate about Pain Management & Functional Restoration. Believes strongly in the healing process that involves the medical, psychological, and social aspects of care. She has over 30 years of experience and realizes the importance of focused quality care and maintaining direct lines of communication with patients and the entire health care team. Has developed excellent interpersonal and leadership skills while working in the Acute Care setting as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner and also in Primary Care Practice. This includes many years’ experience managing acute, chronic and cancer pain.
Most recently her experience has been in the acute care setting. While working as a Nurse Practitioner in the Emergency Department. Evaluating and treating many patients suffering from acute and chronic pain associated with a multitude of problems. This also frequently includes the evaluation of patients suffering from addiction. Recommending treatment plans and options to restore the patient’s life and offer programs to combat addiction. She is currently working on certification in Suboxone Therapy by obtaining the Suboxone Waiver.
